CurrentSuzuki Motorcycle India, Private Limited (SMIPL) is the wholly owned Indian subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation(SMC), Japan.The company has set up its manufacturing facility at Gurugram, Haryana. Leading the Division of Homologation, Environmental affairs (Green Procurement) and ISO compliance where the task is to monitor :-- 2W CMVR Compliance with Government bodies.- Testing for Certification of 2W as per AIS,IS,SES standards.- Active Participation in various forums of SIAM like AISC,CMVR-TSC,SCOE,2W group.- Ensure CMVR compliance in Mass production across the plant.- Suzuki Supplier’s Green Procurement Audit and ISO 14001 Audit.- Training's to Suppliers and Internal team on Suzuki policy for Green Procurement and EMS requirements.- Suppliers for Carbon footprints and sustainability as per ESG.- Supporting Suzuki Supply Chain in selection of Green suppliers, playing vital role in Supply chain during New Supplier Development.- Researching on Automotive Environmental Regulations for restricting the use of impactful substances as per Environment Product regulations.- Enhancing knowledge over European Union regulations of ELV directives, GADSL, RoHS, REACH by ECHA etc.- Suzuki Engineering Standard- SES N 2402.- Enhancing Knowledge on upcoming Automotive Indian Standard-129 (AIS-129).-Enhancing Knowledge over ELV battery waste management, Plastic & E-Waste recycling. - RRR & SOC Calculations. - Monitor and circulate information related to Upcoming Environmental Regulations- Good Leadership skills & Able to handle challenging situations in Supply Chain.- Co-ordinating with SMC Japan for requirements regarding Product compliance in vehicle, parts and genuine products.- Leading Certification for Quality & Environment Management System of Suzuki-2W Plant.
