Currently working as Head of Energy and Efficiency Management Group of 610MW, Muzaffarpur thermal power station having 4 no of thermal units with different capacities. as a Head of Deptt. directly reporting to station O&M head(Dy CEO) looking after all the domains of this group and also directly look after critical and key activities of the Power Station related to operational performance and profitability.1.Responsible for Commercial energy accounting , reconciliation of different energy accounts issued by RPC., RLDC SLDC2. Energy management , Energy Efficiency and Measurements , Perfomance analysis and testing of equipments and systems.3. MIS & Reporting 4. Auditing( Energy, Technical ,Safety, Documentation , Water ) etc.5. Developing strategies for power plant Operations under ever changing electricity regulations , maintenance, fuel sourcing , 6. profit loss analysis during critical plant operations. 7. Understanding tariff policies, energy markets and DSM regulations and Energy conservation policies etc. 8. Preperation of incident reports, failure analysis reportsand other technical reports as per requirements of higher management. 9. Taking up new initiatives and adoption of Energy conservation activities .10. Representating organization at various forums such as Regional power committees periodic forums as PCC, TCC , OCC and other internal and external forums .11. Station Coordinator for Conducting and evaluating PG Tests such for Boiler , turbine ,ESP , Mills , pumps, fans, HVAC etc12.Conducting various studies / pilot projects for power power plant performance improvement.

Worked as Dy. Head of operations for 620mW Muzaffarpur Thermal Power Station. 1. Handling operations with team of Technical Managers , Engineers & Operators for complete commercial operation of units including Emergency & Crises management, Safety and environmental aspects, energy conservation & efficiency management Ensuring adherence to emergency management plan ,Std. Operating Procedure's, Technical guidelines and other guidelines issued by Corporate, Regional & Local management. This also includes safe start up and shutdown of units in consultation with senior management, SLDC and RLDC .2. Maintaining contracts for manpower and specific jobs3. Preparation of Operating procedures, work instructions, LMI's & technical reports as per the requirement.4. Managing technical audits, safety audits and energy audits etc. 5. Working/reporting in SAP PM modules. Involved fully in commissioning & operation for commercial declaration (COD) of 2x195 MW (250BHEL make)units similar to 500MW design . Successfully completed COD trial operation of both units in March & April 2017 covering all the protocols ,procedures and provisions stipulated by CEA, CERC & RPCC.Completed overhauling of 110 MW and 2 X 195 MW units as Operation and Re-Commissioning lead coordinator with specific activities competed such as Chemical treatment of boiler, passivation, corrosion mapping , thickness survey of boiler tubes , Chemical cleaning of condensers & commissioning of various important sub-loops and processes of main plant and offsite areas .

NETRA- R&D wing of NTPC Ltd Institutional Development - Involved in Infra Planning, Engg. & Construction coordination of high End Analysis & Research Labs and advanced computing centre housed in NETRA bldg. which provide scientific services to power stations,Development of new energy technologies,Solar &Renewables etc.O&M including Technical services for associated systems . Infra services for all facilities of building of NTPC NETRA Complex having a plot of 75 ACRES with total developed area of 3.5 lac SQFT .The associated systems includes complete electrical system, Fire alarm & hydrant system,HVAC-VRF,package AC,PAC, UPS,battery banks ,DG sets,I-BMS,Access cntrl,CCTV,PA &Lifts etc Engineering Coordination:For design in conslt with NTPC Project Engineering and Corporate Infrastructure Development groups for electrical system,UPS,DG Power,HVAC,Heat Load ,Spl. services,Safety aspects,Interiors ,signage's & Layout planning for hi-end Labs. Contract management /procurement for AMC contracts and spares etc. including initiation of proposal, preparation of technical specifications,SCC. Prep. of NIT Document,QR,QAIP as per relevant IS codes in coordination with Corp. Contracts deptt for requirement of Labs ,Pilot facilities & administrative bldgs.This incl. processing of vendor bills ,Final Closure of contracts as per Work and procurement policy Vendor management & creation of vendors for rate contracts etc in ERP SAP MM module.Liaisoning with state/local authorities for adherence to statutory compliances Various Energy saving projects &resource optimization studies done..Projects handled independently 1) Construction&Design of Data Centre /server room 2) Design,Engg &procurement of 2 no10/3 T EOT Cranes 3) Design,Engg. for LED retrofit solution for Internal & external lighting .4) Design,Engg of LED dimming & smart solution for Conf hall5) INDO-German R&D collaboration projects in the area of Solar CPV .

-Responsible for Operation & maintanance of 432 MW Combined cycle based Gas turnine power station . (2 X 137 MW + 1X156 MW) SIEMENS Make , V94.2- Manpower and team management-Recommissioning of steam turbine governing system and other equipments such as turbine ,BFP ,CEP,CW pump etc after major overhaul of ST and HGPI of GT .- Involved in maintenance. and testing of HT/LT Swgr. ,Breakers, Motors, Generator and Transformers-Implementation of ABT based tariff system -Implementation of SAP--ERP for MM/PM modules (done as pilot for gas station of NTPC)-coordinated for implementation of ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 certifications-Done various projects for Efficiency improvement such as APC optimization and Energy audit of HRSG etc-Worked as Shift Charge Engineer responsible for complete operation of power station including commercial operation,Reporting and generation of MIS reports in SAP.- The above experience includes 08 month On-Job training and power plant familiarization course at Korba Super Thermal Power Station (3X 200 MW + 4X 500MW)
