As Maintenance Engineer, my role encounters enabling of equipment utilization and reliability, optimization of work processes, adaptation of maintenance tools and procedures, and minimization of service quality incidents by recognizing & capturing opportunities and analysis of the performance of machines. I respond to equipment faults by initiating out routine scheduled maintenance work and fitting new parts and ensuring the proper working and functioning.At Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, I am responsible for conducting system modifications for productivity improvements, quality issues & breakdown reduction by performing local maintenance on controls for critical breakdowns. In addition, I prevent future failures by overseeing performance of the production hall equipment, recognizing the reason of failure and structuring maintenance schedule. Throughout the tenure, my duties encircle delivery of training and coaching to junior maintenance staff as well as formulation of engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends and generating reports and presentations. Also, I acquire satisfactory report about the machines by providing acute solutions for customer’s claims, complaints and deciding for preventive and corrective maintenance and taking regular follow-ups to customer. Additionally, I cooperate in tyre mounting m/c tyre half mount fool proofing done, installed split pin, steering Jig, ND8 Oil poke yoke etc. as well as organize and stock spare parts for machines by communicating with machine suppliers in case of any issues.
