I’m Yogesh Shivakumar, a chemical biologist with a post doctoral research in drug delivery & in-vivo studies, looking out for an exposure in this field to apply my theoretical knowledge into practical. My focus mainly boils down to research & development in drug delivery system, testing of drug delivery materials in-vitro and in-vivo on cancer and auto-immune models, autoimmunity and cancer research. I have had experience in molecular biology and medicinal chemistry involving method development and validating the same for identification and quantification of the reactants and products, monitoring the reaction by using important analytical tool like GC & GC-MS, polymeric drug delivery material development and testing (PLGA and Cyclodextrins) and conducting in-vitro and in-vivo studies. My key areas include molecular biology, medicinal chemistry, drug delivery material development and testing, in-vitro & in-vivo, analytical techniques etc.Apart from this, I have worked on projects like analysis of the effects of triggering ICOS ligand on tumour metastasis, use of biocompatible/biodegradable nano/micro particles loaded with immunomodulatory molecules or anti-cancer drugs as viccines and use of Mining Waste as a Source of Micro Nutrients in Growth of Plants. I have also attended workshops regarding mode of functioning of bioreactors/ fermenters, purification and concentration of the drug molecule, blotting techniques etc. In addition to this, I have presented papers on ‘Use of Mining Waste as a Source of Micro Nutrients in Growth of Plants’ and ‘DNA Finger Printing’. I am a confident individual with a positive approach & innovative mind which helps me to develop ideas. I have the ability to deal with challenging tasks by adhering to strict deadlines.
