- Authored and Published a paper (currently in Proceedings for CIKM23' ), " Repair: A Toolkit for Query Refinement Gold Standard Generation Using Transformers." This work develops large-scale datasets using a given collection and relevant judgements to improve the search efficacy of a query without semantic drift.- Researched the need for query reformulation personalization and how it works in Information Retrieval Systems. - Studied and Implemented various neural models, such as T5 and BERT, using Tensorflow and PyTorch, comparing them for model selection.- Reproduced and evaluated the efficiencies of Sparse and Dense Information retrieval methods leveraging Pyserini and trec_eval.- Integrated State-of-the-art Dense Information retrieval methods into research thesis project to produce high-yielding systems with a 70% more accurate document retrieval pipeline - Computed, aggregated and visualized ranked document results using Trec_Eval, Pandas and Matplotlib. - Implemented a code logic to remove document duplication in dense retrieval results to the open-sourced Pyserini Information Retrieval Library.
