One Vibe Africa is a non-profit that operates in Kisumu Kenya and Seattle WA, provides resources for youg Africans in Kisumu to learn to perform and produce music, and produces the Madaraka Festival yearly since 2014, and last year began touring the US with the production,

Comfort Food Band blends progressive jazz and African styles under the byline "Bitches Brew meets Fela Kuti" . Awarded "best Alternative Jazz Band" in Seattle's Earshot 2019 Golden Ear awards, the band covers material from the psychedelic Miles period, Afro-beat Pioneer Fela Kuti, current Malian start Habib Koite ( Habib's percussionist Madu Kone has appeared with the band), and even throwback material like The Allman Bros "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed". Plus the beautiful African influenced compositions of bandleader Bob Antolin.

In addition to music, I supplement my income by driving for Uber independently. Fulltime since November 2013, I have racked up well over 70,000 trips and maintain a 4.98 (out of five) customer rating.I also drive regularly for the Amazon Flex program.

Ed Mays Groove Kitchen specializes in old school funk and rock, covering songs by musicians such as Chaka Khan, Aretha Franklin, Sly Stone, Stevie Wonder, and dance tunes such as "Le FreaK" by chic and songs by rock artists such as Bachman Turner Overdrive, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie ray Vaughn, and more.
