As a Data Engineer at PickYourTrail, I architect, build, and maintain the data platform that powers the travel tech company's products and applications. I design terabyte scale daily ETL processes using Python and SQL, develop APIs to reflect crucial product data, and create ETL pipelines for aggregating clickstream data into BigQuery. I also build BI dashboards for tracking product and application performance metrics, using tools such as PowerBI, Azure, Docker, and Jenkins.I graduated from Thiagarajar College of Engineering with a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology in May 2022, with a GPA of 9.32/10.0. I have a passion for machine learning and AWS, and I have published an IEEE research paper on document classification and automatic grading, which is an interactive model for self-evaluation of answer scripts and assignments, with fraud detection between scripts with >90% accuracy. I have also participated and won several hackathons and competitions, such as the Skillenza Hackathon 2019 and the Treasure Hunt at MIT Chennai 2019.
