Flinks is the leading banking API service provider that connects clients' platform with over 250,000,000 Canadian financial accounts, providing Banks and FinTech companies with the world's best financial data gateway, enabling enhanced digital onboarding, risk modelling, and insights.As Lead Generation Intern, I strategically targeted clients that not only have potential for large volume, but also can add value to Flinks' brand and be long-term partners. By approaching potential clients with clear understanding of their pain points and plan for how Flinks can streamline their processes, increase conversion rates, and free up resources, I was able to open conversations for potential deals with industry leaders of payment processing, credit unions, and cryptocurrency exchanges.

As the head of Saudi Arabian branch, I was responsible for overseeing daily operations, project proposal and bidding, project management, and for leading strategic initiatives and business development. I successfully transformed the organization and business model through major business development and restructuring initiatives, turning the branch around from loss to profit and growing the revenue significantly. The number of employees went from 5 to 49 in 3 years, and the revenue of Saudi Arabian branch increased from $1 million in FY2012 to $30 million in FY2015.

I put together weekly updates of overseas operations for the CEO and coordinated with the heads of overseas branches. I served as an interpretation officer for Senior Member, United Nations Command (UNC) Military Armistice Commission and Deputy Chief of Staff, Korea-US Combined Forces Command (CFC). In this role, I had a great privilege to work with military leaders from 20 different nations. I interpreted in meetings, briefs, conferences, and events involving flag officers within UNC and CFC and external guests including diplomats, politicians, and scholars. I was also responsible for translating letters, memos, and reports and liaising with offices of US military generals, United Nations Command members, and Neutral Nations Supervisory Commission representatives.

In this role, my main responsibility was to interpret in meetings, briefs, updates, and events involving US counterparts, especially Combat Support Team of US Forces Korea stationed at Third Republic of Army HQ, and to translate intelligence reports, letters, memos, and field manuals. I was also the main interpreter for combined testing of Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) with the US Army.
