Major achievements are: Organized various trainings to the staffs of regional, District and local level institutions on NRM (watershed management) and environment. Assisted District & local level government experts on the preparation and implementation of ESMF for PSNP activities.  Provided technical assistance to Bureau of Environmental Protection Land Administration and Use in preparing EIA, strategic environmental assessment and cumulative effect assessment technical guidelines, EIA proclamation, Etc.  Assisted District offices and the community in establishing model watershed sites, preparing Community-based Participatory and integrated watershed plan, establishing farmers-led monitoring and follow up system, establishing information documentation system, and implementing watershed development. Established joint monitoring among regional, zonal and District offices on community watershed developments  Provided technical assistance to Bureau of Environmental Protection Land Administration and Use in preparing in developing legal documents and technical guidelines.  Developed baseline report for Soil and Water Conservation for Community-Based Integrated NRM Project in Lake Tana Sub-Basin, IFAD supported project as Soil and Water Conservation Specialist and NRM Team Leader,  Familiar with Canada International Development Agency (CIDA) environmental procedure. Developed watershed development plan for Shigeza watershed in East Gojjam, Amhara for Migbare Senay Children and Family Support Organization (MSCFSO), local NGO, Ethiopia Developed environmental impact assessment report for various development projects

Injibara, Ethiopia

 Established soil and water conservation model site. The site is now used as a model watershed site and visited by NGOs and GOs coming from different parts of the country.  With my technical advice and involvement an area, which was under extensive landslide pressure was rehabilitated and the expansion of landslide was stopped by implementing both physical and biological conservation measures.  Technically assisted Development Agents & the community in the implementation of soil and water conservation measures
