Dr Yohei Kiguchi is a Japanese London-based climate-tech entrepreneur. Dr Kiguchi is the founder and CEO of ENECHANGE, the leading EV charging and online energy switching company based between Tokyo and London. He founded ENECHANGE in 2015 based on his doctoral research at the University of Cambridge and became the first publicly listed climate-tech company on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2020, and hit 1 billion USD market cap in 2021. He won the Entrepreneur of the year in 2022 awarded by JANE. Outside of ENECHANGE, Dr Kiguchi has served several public activities to advise carbon-neutral strategies (Japanese government METI, Japan Associate of Corporate Executives, and Japan Associate of New Economy) as well as overseas diplomatic efforts (Trilateral Commissions). Dr Kiguchi earned a bachelor's degree from University of Tokyo, and doctorate in engineering from University of Cambridge.
