- To manage and planning station advertising and promotion costing - Develop strategies and implement all advertising and promotion plan for station and its various brands, that include Chinese, Urban and Malay market. - Source and negotiate the rates with media owners for the above-the-line and below the line advertising and target to audience and business partner.- Coordinate, monitor and evaluate all A&P effort to ensure smooth process of promotional campaign; work closely with advertising agency and prepare all media booking. - Always look for new alternative way to promote 8TV, and enhance 8TV branding as trend settle, always set trends, it doesn’t follow competitor and others. - Source and negotiate with potential sponsors and working partner, towards building a relationship for sponsoring in-kind goods.- Collabration with third party to lower promotion and get maximum exposure for 8TV

- Directly responsible for the acquisition of a variety of content genres for Chinese programs, which contributes to the channel’s ratings and revenue potential. - Comes out with strategies on growing the Chinese Brand as a profitable entity. - Supports Programming Manager in planning annual budget and program monthly schedule. -Studies the audience market, competitive landscape and latest media development to recommend improvements -Oversees operations process from delivery of material to the actual telecast of the programs, inspects the day-to-day management of materials for telecast to ensure that they have met the standard required. - Produce new fresh programs & ideas to enhance 8TV branding in Chinese market - Manage Advertising & Promotion budget; plans the company’s promotions, events and marketing strategies. -Manages 8TV Chinese events such as yearly concerts, meet the fans, screenings, road shows, and press conferences. -Assists to effectively maximize budget to build brand awareness & brand equity.
