I was born in Japan with family roots in China, grew up in China and Canada, and currently based in the United States. I also worked in other countries such as Belize , Finland, and the United Kingdom, as well as other jobs across various industries including IT, international relations, finance, scientific research, and data analysis. I'm versatile with a mindset focused on empowering myself, organizations, and the world. I have a strong passion for what I do and actively engage in meetings pertaining to technology and the environment. As an avid explorer and traveler, I've gained diverse perspectives on the world. Through my extensive experiences, I aim to apply the knowledge and skills in my life and what I learn in computing science, data science, and engineering to create a better world, through my high ambition to empower the community and the world around us.I hold a Master's Degree in Environmental Science (Biology) with a minor in Environmental Policy and boast over 7 years of experience in environmental policy, biology, geography, and education. Additionally, I'm engaged in the energy, technology, health, food, agriculture, gender, and human rights sectors. My skill set includes administration, creativity, event organization, communication, and leadership. In addition, I have collaborated with organizations such as the IUCN, World Research Institute (WRI), World Health Organization (WHO), Office of the United Nations High Commission for Human Rights (OHCHR), World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Global Environmental Facility (GEF), UN Capital Development Fund (UN CDF), and C40 Cities, and ICLEI. I am also the contributing author for the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES), second review of transformative change assessment, Chapter 1: Transformative Change and a Sustainable World.
