Monitors reserves for all open claims, authorizing payments within managing authorityMonitoring and assigning daily new claims to adjusters in which the claims are typically of moderate to severe complexityOverseeing claim activity for over 125 Wal-Mart Stores in the state of Texas including and but not limited to overseeing Sam's Clubs, Neighborhood Markets, Distribution Centers or any other affiliate of the Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.Reviewing and approving reserving amounts; assessing decisions for fairness and amicable resolution. Maintaining quality standards, containing cost; ensuring customer service standards are met. Monitoring work assignments to ensure data integrity and accuracy.Completing supervisor diaries on claims with moderate exposure probability. Providing feedback and directions as needed. Manage investigations, medical treatment and disability.Working directly with Medical Director to ensure the best possible care for our associates• Attend Benefit Review Conferences and or Contested Case Hearings, Mediations on as needed basis to ensure that our company is represented properly by counsel and providing settlement authorityWork directly with legal counsel in regards to negotiating claims.Prepare written communication on claim inquiries for various agencies and adhering to special instructions.Complying and participating in court orders, judgments, decrees, petitions, mediations and settlements. Ensuring team license and continuing education requirements are met.
