During my 37 years of employment, I was so blessed to be afforded many training and work opportunities -- federal workmans compensation, position description creation & classification, pay, special pay setting, vacancy advertisements, interviewing, on-boarding and off-boarding, employee benefits, just to name a few. During my educational years, I attained one of the highest stenography and typing speeds. Also, I was a cheerleader during high school & college, as well as being on student council for being head cheerleader. I am very active in my church -- Sunday School Teacher, pianist, organist, organize & chair many functions.Now that I am retired, I am pursuing my art. I am so thankful to have discovered color pencils, which have become my medium of choice. However, in the past I have enjoyed graphite, water colors, acrylics, & oils. In addition, I've also enjoyed paper mache, crocheting, and clay. I do also enjoy painting on flagstone, slate, and other stones, as well as on wood, and making jewelry - especially agate pendants. A lot of my art has a Christian theme🎚I am attempting to make a business of my art. My color pencil drawings are all completed on acid-free art board or paper. All are professionally matted, framed, & placed under 99% UV protection glass.However, my greatest accomplishment is to have raised three of the most wonderful children in the whole world! My husband of 45+ years and I agree that we could never have accomplished this without lots of prayer and God's guidance!
