Responsible for the overall leadership of One Aim Illinois.

Responsible for interim/transitional program management and consulting assignments at multiple, diverse membership centers within the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago Association based on program and center needs. This role is key to enhancing program effectiveness, informing program strategy, and driving revenue, staff development, member/participant experience and retention in assigned centers as well as identifying and developing center program leaders and staff to ensure effective transition.

• Develop script and curriculum for The MLK Project: The Fight for Civil Rights (children’s show weaving together oral history, poetry, hip hop, and multi-media projections to tell Chicago Civil Rights Movement story and promote non-violence, social justice and civil responsibility).

• Served in key leadership role to ensure mission of mentoring, educating, and enriching underserved youth through creation and delivery of collaborative theatre was carried out.• Led strategic growth and artistic educational vision in Los Angeles County school, park, juvenile detention, and community-aligned centers and developed program policies and assessment practice to ensure strategic goals, academic growth, and social emotional standards were followed. • Increased program enrollment 60%, audience 70%, and active volunteer roster 50%, after leading change management processes which helped improve existing program execution and launch 4 new programs. • Grew program enrollment to 1.6K after implementing 15 program sites with 7 program models, enhancing organization’s ability to provide marginalized communities with social, communication, and career readiness skills. • Launched 1st virtual theatre program to provide vital resources and social connections to 300 students and family members during 2020 coronavirus pandemic.

• Managed grant funded projects for YMCA of the USA (YUSA) and supported local YMCAs in developing and implementing Early Learning Readiness (ELR) program; collaborated with 18 YMCAs to launch 36 ELR sites. • Led staff training, conducted site visits, wrote / tracked program improvement plans, generated grant reports, made data-driven program changes, monitored program budget, and handled database administration. • Scored 95% on program fidelity, quality, and enrollment, achieving outcomes for continued funding and enabling YMCA to close achievement gap in under-resourced, low-income, and newcomer communities.

• Served in leadership role for YMCA of Metro Los Angeles that encompassed 25 YMCA facilities, 74 school-age sites, and 9 preschools. • Generated association-wide curriculum that aligned with “Shaping the Generations” initiatives and designed collaborations with 25 YMCAs to provide arts and humanities, character development and health and wellness classes to 24K students. • Launched ELR pilot program at 3 sites, surpassing goal of 30 participants with 40, scoring 100 from Vice President, and 90% on program quality parent surveys. • Cultivated growth of 2K participants and volunteers and 30+ community events after developing new partners to implement dance, theater, nutrition, and literacy programs.

• Oversaw Artist-In-Residence Program and Field Trip Concert Series operations, including teaching artist training, supervision and support, program evaluation and improvement, curriculum development, volunteer and community partners logistics, workshop and concert scheduling, ticket sales, contracts / invoices / payments, marketing, promoting, and reporting.
