Analyst Duties: Review and monitor collections tasks and accounts worked and escalated by our collections support specialists. Further investigate issues that collections specialists were not able to complete. Keep management and others on my team informed of any new coding or protocol issues that arise. Escalate priority tasks with other departments for a quicker resolution. Ensure a 24 hour customer service follow up time frame on any customer inquiries that come up. Work directly with my client’s collection agency to ensure information is updated and shared regularly. Work directly from reports on priority or high dollar accounts to ensure prompt payment. Identifies and verifies adjustments that need to be made to accounts and performs approved adjustments. Post and reconcile carrier and patient payments. Review denials and complete carrier appeal packages for payment
