At a large consulting company, whilst growing my own division exponentially and eventually also managing the Cape Town branch, I was tasked to turn failing business units in other areas of the organisation, into profitable entities and dissolving others no longer viable. While this was probably one of the most challenging and emotional times in my working career, it was also where I learned the most.
