Inspire and create stories and product ideas for ranges • Introduce new products seasonally, in line with the trading calendar and exhibition schedules, as well as identifying opportunities from data analysis, customer motivations and behaviors • Lead on creative design and technical product development• Brief in external designers to correct manufacturer to deliver product and maintain critical path • In depth knowledge and understanding of current trade, independent analysis/ lead and write department strategy• Manage department cash flow, monitors replenishment and stock holding, to minimize risk and optimize supplier terms. • Action plan with slow moving stock• Ensure products listed on range plans achieve margin and are managed within sales mix, meet gross profit targets, fulfil a comprehensive pricing architecture, and maintain competitive pricing • Internal departments cross-functional communication with built relationships with all teams, from Retail, to Publishing, Exhibitions, Curatorial, Press, Marketing, Finance, Learning, Events• Liaise with Exhibition, Marketing and Publishing teams to develop cohesive experience and brand message

Implemented long term and seasonal active wear strategy. Identifying commercial opportunities and risks, leading branded negotiations, managing the buying process, merchandise strategy and store development projects. Implemented the five Active Wear departments in stores bringing together all touch points of the business, Buying, Marketing, Operations, IT, Store design/development. Accountable for the Christmas Collection (mix private label and buying) and all Living Accessories. Managing the buying assistent, working in close partnership with a financial planner and indirect reports across the stores. Implemented long term and seasonal strategy. Identifying commercial opportunities and risks, leading branded negotiations, managing the buying process, merchandise strategy and store development projects. Implemented new floorplans for the Christmas and Living Accessories Departments, with focus on experience.
