The role of the Financial Business Analyst is to work in partnership with the V.P. of Client and Solution Services and Operations Directors to achieve their annual financial and operating objectives.Specifically, I was heavily involved in budget development, working in conjunction with the business leaders to build their annual team budgets; Working closely with the client teams to oversee the portfolio and identify areas of concern/oversight and recommend solutions; Provide insight on how to better manage project financials; Support in helping the team understand the forecasted and existing business, identify risks and exposures, and strategically manage the business on the books.My duties also included preparing and distributing monthly accurate financial information; Income statement analysis; Compare business trends month over month and year over year; Assisting in business cases and ad hoc analysis to support management decision making.
