As a passionate and dedicated Social Worker with a decade of experience and being a recent graduate in the field, I strongly believe in the importance of social work in any community across the world. I am registered with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP).Throughout my years of service, I have gained extensive experience in victim empowerment and HIV/TB prevention and management programs for paediatrics, adolescents, and youth. I have received training on the Department of Health's national adherence strategy for HIV/TB and NCDs, as well as Integrated Access and Kidz Alive programs. Moreover, I have successfully completed a theoretical course on HIV/AIDS care and counselling, which has equipped me with the knowledge to implement differentiated care strategies to improve clinical outcomes for key populations living with HIV/TB and NCDs.In addition to my technical skills, I possess strong program delivery skills, which have allowed me to organize and implement successful projects. I am also an experienced trainer with excellent facilitation and mentoring skills. My ethical, creative, and flexible approach to work has helped me become a strong leader, emphasizing collaboration and participation, making me an excellent team player.Through my personal and professional experience, I have come to understand the critical role that social work plays in promoting social justice, empowering individuals and communities, and enhancing their well-being. It is this belief that drives me to work tirelessly towards supporting quality improvement strategies and empowering vulnerable populations.
