During my time at McLee, I handled a wide variety of immigration matters ranging from ILR, EEA applications, Entry Clearance, Appeals, Detention and Bail, Judicial Reviews, Long residence under the 14 year rule, complex appplications, discretionary leave, reconsiderations. I also regularly dealt with matters within the Conveyancing dept including receiving instructions from prospective buyers and sellers of property. This would often include requesting office copies from the land registry, conducting searches on title, raising requisitions and all other forms of pre and post completion matters. In addition to this I also handled matters within the Civil litigation dept including receiving instructions from clients taking full statements,drafting pre-action protocol letters and serving on all relevant/interested parties. This also often involved preparing litigation bundles including instructing Counsel for attendance at hearing as and when required.
