I’m responsible for keeping the warehouse where the lumber and other home applicable items are stored at a high level of cleanliness. Alongside that, I’m personally helping customers acquire the products they need and loading it directly into their vehicle. Much like those at the sales counter, I’m actively helping customers make decisions based on what they need, and communicating to them if a different product would better suit their needs. It requires me to be knowledgeable on the products we have, but also able to have the communicative skills to recommend and sell products to customers if need be.

My main responsibilities at this position were to be the leader/counselor for a group of campers, and show them the many different types of activities. Having to set up activities weekly for your specific group, organizing science, art, and other projects that tested their ability to work together.

A program that was set in place during early Covid, it provided a setting for parents to let their children remotely learn, but still interact with other kids with Covid-safe practices. Responsibilities included directing a group of children during work hours, helping with homework or projects, help teach basic math and English to children, and providing games, arts, and crafts as extracurricular activities.

As a ‘Move 60’ counselor, we had a program set for teenagers as an after school event they can take part in. My role was to be one of the many group leaders we had on our team, and together we would have the children take part in fun activities, learning moments, and tests to challenge themselves. We also had a a group dedicated to teaching the teens how to cook food themselves and the benefits to eating healthy.
