I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in both Political Science and African American and African Studies from The Ohio State University, and currently hold an Associate's degree from Columbus State Community College. I am a proud graduate of the Columbus Africentric Early College in Columbus, Ohio, where I was the sole valedictorian. I have been an avidly active, and vehemently passionate, community organizer in the Greater Columbus Area for over five years, starting my advocacy through the Columbus City Schools Student Ambassador Program. Since that time, I have held associations with the Columbus South Side Area Commission and its South Side Thrive Collaborative; the Greater Far East Area Commission; Community for New Direction; United Way of Central Ohio; Franklin Council Youth Council and its Alumni's Association; the WORTH Foundation; and The Students' Revolution, which I co-founded.I am also active at Ohio State; I have been a member of its Undergraduate Student Government, therein, for three years; wherein, I have served as a Committee Representative in the former Diversity and Inclusion and Governmental Relations Issues Committees, and was an inaugural member of the Undergraduate Black Caucus. I am currently serving a second term in USG's General Assembly as a Senator representing the College of Arts and Sciences, and I currently hold positions on the Justice and Equity Legislative Committee and the Oversight Committee of the General Assembly. My collegiate extracurricular affairs which are external to USG include being a founding member of the Council on Minority Political Affairs, wherein I was recently elected (March 2022) to serve a second term as the Director of Community Outreach; co-founder and Vice President of the Alliance for the Support of Black Studies through the Department of African-American and African Studies; and Treasurer of the InterVarsity Black Student Movement.I am a Master of Ceremonies who is always on call and always ready and willing to oversee the hosting duties of any community event. I also dabble in genealogy, having worked as a professional, self-employed genealogist since 2019. Overall, I am a well-rounded, civicially minded individual, who hopes to effect a continued change in my community and country by using the gifts that the most high God has so graciously indwelled within me. I have been richly blessed in opportunity, achivement, and relationships; it is my continously fervent prayer that I will further my advancements and enrich myself scholastically and careerwise.
