Started by volunteers in 1971, the clinic has grown into a premier federally qualified health center with six locations in New York City to provide high-quality, affordable, and culturally competent health care for underserved Asian Americans and other vulnerable populations. We help people, regardless of their ability to pay or the language they speak, get equal access to health care.

Increased annual giving to over $4.6 million (amount directly raised by a three-person development team), closed 7-figure foundation grants, strengthened corporate programs, managed special events (500-person over $2.7 million Gala in 2019; innovative virtual events in 2020; over $2.6 million in-person Gala during COVID-19 in 2021 and honored the first Chinese-American business leader in its history; Gala design featuring a conversation with USTR in 2022), and successfully cultivated prominent individuals to serve on the board including leaders at BlackRock, Bridgewater, Citadel, Citi, and Invesco. Founded in 1966, NCUSCR is America’s oldest organization dealing with U.S.-China relations and promotes mutual understanding between citizens of the United States and Greater China. It played a leading role in Ping Pong Diplomacy by co-hosting the 1972 U.S. visit of the Chinese table tennis team, and has since hosted major events for every senior Chinese leader visiting the U.S. from Deng Xiaoping to Xi Jinping.

Provided strategic consulting and fundraising campaign direction for major nonprofit organizations. Founded in 1947, CCS is the world's leading fundraising consulting and management firm. Represented Stephen A. Schwarzman Education Foundation to be based at Tsinghua University (Beijing) in 2013 to advise on the launch of the Schwarzman Scholars Program. Worked directly with Blackstone Chairman Stephen Schwarzman and CCS Chairman Bob Kissane to bring a vision to fruition and create the initial China team. At $500+ million, the program's endowment campaign was the largest internationally funded philanthropic effort in China's history. Served on-site counsel for the $1 billion campaign for Girl Scouts of the USA. Collaborated with CEO Anna Maria Chávez, the first person of color to head the organization. In partnership with 112 councils, worked to serve over 2.3 million girl and adult members, connect over 59 million living alumnae, and make philanthropy for girls a national and global priority.
