About Yoni Pasternak

Nala is building data products and tools to enable companies to craft impactful nature strategies, including mitigating nature risks and reporting in accordance with new regulations and frameworks (CSRD, TNFD, SBTN). I studied philosophy for my BA and MA. My previous roles were in management consulting (Bain in London, including projects with food producers), venture capital (Universal Music Group in San Francisco), and e-commerce furniture (Wayfair in London). My work at Wayfair included extensive work on sustainability: leading Wayfair EU’s commercial strategy to reduce scope 3 emissions by measuring and incentivising suppliers, how to market the sustainability of Wayfair's products to consumers, and coursework at LSE on climate change. I was also previously Head of Commercial at natcap, a nature tech startup founded at Oxford University.
