- Responsible for Content management and quality assurance of uploads on the platform- Converting PDF and word documents to HTML files for upload- Identifying opportunities and creating solutions to improve efficiency of operations of the startup- Created Python Application to automate upload of customer issues reported on Whatsapp customer care line. Reduced operation time by close to 70%.- Converted entire codebase into Typescript- Increased test coverage of entire codebase

I was the project lead/manager and organizer for Ashesi Design Lab's Blockchain Hackathon 2018. My role as lead over the 5 months involved:- Overseeing the creation of a budget and sponsorship prospectus for companies interested in sponsoring the event- Recruiting teams and individuals to participate in the hackathon - Conceptualizing and designing smaller events in the lead up to the final event in may to educate participants about blockchain technology and application programming.- Organizing logistics for all events - Overseeing the creation of a website and promotional material such as posters and radio interviews to publicize key information about the hackathon and to help with recruitment efforts.- Organizing a webinar with stakeholders to teach participants about the power of blockchain technology

Coordinated Deep Dives Social Innovation Project aimed at developing products for emerging markets in collaboration with Burro Brand and engineers from Brown University, USA, using design thinking methodologies and ethnographic research methods.Coordinated and Facilitated communication between 5 Ashesi Design Lab Fellows, 5 Engineers from Brown University and alumni from Rhode Island School of Design to carry out research in rural areas as well as develop prototype solutions to problems identified in aforementioned rural areas.Organized and managed weekly Design Thinking workshops for Fellows to develop creative solutions to project problems.Monitored and Evaluated Fellow Project progress and assess possible directions for moving forward

Once again tutored high school students (this time 145) in leadership, design thinking methodology and robot programming using python. Spent 100 hours in two weeks engaged in helping the high school students to build robots using an EV3 Mindstorms kit and program their built robots using python programming. This helped introduce and expose them to computer science and engineering as well as how to build robots to solve problems.

ADEPT was an 8-week project collaboration between Ashesi University Ghana and Dartmouth University, USA Engineering Department with the aim of using design thinking and engineering to create a health care solution for the nearby community of Kitase. The Ashesi team conducted field research and ethnography with teams applying design thinking to the findings to inform the creation of a prototype at the end of the project.My Role as ADEPT Consultant and Ashesi Team Lead included:- Leading the Ashesi team of 5 to perform ethnographic research in nearby communities to understand the health care challenges that exist in the community. This was done by conducting interviews in the homes of the community members and the local clinic.- Coordinating virtual design workshop sessions between both teams to make sense of findings from primary research and come up with solutions to problems as well as suitable next steps to take on the project to ultimately ensure project achieved scope and time targets.At the conclusion of the project the two teams developed a stethoscope retrofitted with an embedded computer chip that analyzes sound to detect fast breathing, a symptom of lower respiratory infection.

Pioneered and oversaw the implementation of a new unconventional system as a short term solution to help facilitate the real time collection and collation of data from various depots across Ghana.Played a key role in devising and developing new marketing techniques to increase brand awareness of Vaettel Mineral Water including personally marketing products on marketing rounds.Represented Vaettel in spearheading the Litre of Light Charity Project in partnership with Wings of Hope Charity Organisation. This was very effective in once again increasing Vaettel's brand awareness and promoting corporate social resposibility
