Yoolanda Karim Email and Phone Number
I worked as a Software Engineer at Media Try Co., Ltd. in Hiroshima, Japan from 2018 until 2012. My main responsibility would be to develop the software for embedded device produced by the company that is called Emergency Broadcast Receiver. The main source code is developed using C language programming. My involvement in the project starts from translating user requirement into functional unit. I also involved in testing the software developed before rolling it out to the customers. Besides the main task, I have also developed applications using Visual Basic 6 and VB.NET to support the debugging and testing process. Then, I moved to my current workplace (AIM Connections Sdn Bhd) as a Systems Manager. At first, I was responsible to developed the Passenger Information System for KTMB and integrate with other contractor such as PSI Traffic (signalling) and OA(Public Address System). The system was successfully rolled out to KVDT(Klang Valley Double Track), RIDT(Rawang Ipoh Double Track) and SGEDT(Seremban Sg Gadut Double Track) line of KTMB. In 2018, I was assigned as the System Lead for Passenger Information System and Master Clock System where my responsibility falls from translating the statement of needs to a detail design to managing the development of new functionalities for the existing Passenger Information System and upgrading the existing data exchange sync between the PIS with the new Signalling provider. I was also tasked with developing the first version of the CMCCS (Cashless Micro Credit Collection System) portal for Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia. This portal provides the information on Sahabat(loan borrower)'s loan payment status that was paid using the payment terminal. I have developed skills such as development, designing, management and documentations from the various types of projects that I have been involved with. I also works closely with stakeholders to make sure the project can be delivered in time and according to the requirements. The first version and deployment of systems (PIS and CMCCS) was developed single handedly by me. Same goes to when I was in Japan. This shows the passion that I have for my works and that I am able to work with limited resources.
