I provide technical support for set-up, maintenance, and troubleshooting for Windows, Mac, Android, iOS, and various assistive communication devices.I stay current on the latest access tech and train patients such as for eye gaze control and voice control/access.I implement various tasks like setting up our online referral systems and managing our troubleshooting ticketing system.I manage the loans, leases, and service orders for equipment and devices for patient use.

As a lifelong learner who wanted to expand beyond my Bachelors's background revolving around Health Sciences and as a person with a passion for technology, I pioneered the "OTech" club during my Master of Occupational Therapy studies at Western University to bridge the gap between the Health and Tech industries.In 2019, Master of Occupational Therapy students from the University of Toronto started OTech. After discovering them in 2020, I spoke with the founders about the opportunity to create a branch of my own.My previous leadership experience ushered immediate results, including forming a co-presidents partnership with a colleague from my Master's program and hand-picking qualified candidates for OTech executive members, including representatives for Finance, Social Media, Communications, and 1st-Year Rep within the first month of starting the OTech club.Thrilled to implement my innovative ideas revolving around Health and Tech, I created, organized, and facilitated a total of 3 unprecedented Health-Tech-related guest speaker virtual events, including Video Game Hardware/Software Usability & Accessibility, 3D Printing Custom-made Assistive Technology, and Brain-Computer Interface Technology. The average number of attendees was approximately 30 across the 3 events.Finally, as I was setting up OTech, I became highly interested in programming, and I wanted to help augment other students' and my own learning experiences. In light of this, I discovered a retired occupational therapist's work on the "Thingiverse" website, where it displayed his custom-designed assistive technologies through OpenSCAD coding and 3D printing. After contacting him, we collaboratively created a 6-week workshop to teach students to learn OpenSCAD coding and the fundamentals of 3D printing to design custom-made assistive technology devices for patients with unique needs.

Identified patients' pain points through interviewing, observation, and research to gain a comprehensive understanding of their work-related injuries.Analyzed and synthesized the data and insights gained through empathy to define the patients' problem statement.Created intervention plans by identifying possible strategies to treat patients' work-related injuries, such as via exercise/stretching prescriptions, work simulations, ergonomic education, and concussion management.Conducted the intervention plan while working in an agile environment with other medical professionals who are part of the patients' care.Reviewed the efficacy of the intervention plan and iterated as necessary.

CBI Health's need for a robust data management system was brought to light during the first week of placement. I liaised with my supervisors and revamped the data management system as my primary project for the internship.I revamped the data management system for 38 patients across 2 Local-Health-Integration-Networks by creating the "Excel-Database" that store, extract, and visualize patient's data to assist the management team's data-driven decisions.To do this, I taught myself Microsoft's PowerAutomate to automatically add each patient's survey responses from Microsoft Forms into the "Excel-Database" to eliminate lost time from manual data inputs. I independently created the "Excel-Database" with Excel's formula expressions, VBA Coding, and its features to form various calculations, if statements, dropdown menus, and conditional formatting.I liaised with the senior leadership throughout the development of the "Excel-Database" to improve its efficiency.Finally, I developed a training manual for the "Excel-Database" to ensure its strong usability and sustainability.
