As SHSA's Internal Outreach Chair, I am in charge of organizing internal events for our members such as Paint and Sip Night and Jeopardy Night. The goal of my position is to create camaraderie and foster community among the pre-health students in our organization.

I lead the Horizon committee in planning innovative events for Georgia Tech students. This involves collaborating with staff advisors, vendors, and GT departments, creating budgets, and overseeing every aspect of our events to ensure a positive guest experience.

I work with the Center for Mental Health Care and Resources to teach the QPR framework for suicide prevention (Question, Persuade, Refer) to students, faculty, and staff. I co-lead discussion-based classes and cooperate with other instructors to keep course material relevant to the student perspective.

I participate in planning small and large-scale events for the Georgia Tech student body, as well as volunteer at signature events such as Midnight Breakfast, GT Night at Six Flags, and Week of Welcome. I am on the Horizon committee, whose mission is to organize new and unusual events (Coffee and Slam Poetry Night, Hot Ones Speed Dating).

I worked with fellow lifeguards and managers to facilitate a sanitary and safe aquatic environment. On stand, I kept watch over swimmers and made sure they were following the rules while lap swimming, using the waterslide, or playing with facility equipment. Off stand, I regularly cleaned bathrooms and seating areas around the pool and sometimes.

I guided elementary, middle, and high school students through reading, homework, and test prep. I specialized mostly in math and science but was available for all subjects. On occasion, I discussed methods to reinforce reading and writing skills with Korean-speaking parents.

I worked with swimmers in various age groups to improve their swimming technique and endurance. I also provided in-water guidance for the Bubble (6 and under) swimmers.

I led residents through activities such as Bingo, origami, and jewelry making. On days with nice weather, I took residents on exercise walks outside and through hallways. I also assisted in setting up for events such as church visits and parties.
