Yo Park is a horticulturist, videographer, filmmaker and photographer.She started working as an artist in 2004 performing and creating installations. And she began to produce videos ten years ago. Now in 2024, she she is moving into the field of Horticulture. She got trained at New York Botanical Garden and certified as a horticulturist , specialized in Sustainable Garden Design. Yo Park used to create modular installations, whose command module is called “Quadropus Uncogitatus.” Quadropus Uncogitatus encompasses the Feminine. It has the ability to reach out in all directions of its own free will or stretch out to unexpected lengths, if necessary, making its existence original and powerful, yet adaptable and enduring. (It also has the ability to fold itself into an unrecognizable small shape which may be for a period of incubation or a disguise for self preservation. It can play, run, dance, resist and endure without losing its inherent identity.) It is mother, daughter and crone of all cultures and all times; life giving, nurturing, resourceful and resilient. Stretchable fabrics, beach balls and balloons have been used to express the femininity and versatile ability of QU.The liberal and humorous open arms and forms of the Quadropuses create an inviting and stimulating environment that elicits dialogue and interaction. In this Quadropus Uncogitatus environment, given a chance to get access to gut-reaction, spontaneity and intuition, every participant is welcome to be delightful, sociable, humorous, imaginative, and revolutionary. Besides the above artistic projects, she also produced two documentary films while being trained as a producer at Manhattan Neighborhood Network. The first documentary, Life Tuning, was made in March 2019, and the second one, Dr. Candido’s Church in June 2019. Specialties: Film,Photograph, Web Design, Graphics and Book Design
