Support the due-diligence, financial underwriting, closing, and project management of 8-12 rehabilitations a year, ranging from 4- to 214-unit multifamily and mixed use properties. Project value ranges from $3.3M to $113M. Underwriting includes both a bond-backed senior mortgage product and residual receipts loans/grants for multiple programs, including Small Sites (San Francisco-specific), Homekey (statewide program), and Low Income Housing Tax Credit projects (national). Seek loan approval from the citywide Loan Committee and Board of Supervisors. Draft loan documents and advise on loan template updates. Schedule and participate in loan closing calls. Plan and manage groundbreakings, grand openings, and community meetings. Create messaging and design for print media, website, and presentations. Research planning permissions and zoning regulations. Assist with funding applications, RFPs and RFQs. Communicate with partners and consultants regarding legal, environmental, architectural, governmental and banking matters. Attend to operational needs of 20-person office to design effective workflows, manage training and travel arrangements, and liaise between Accounting, Asset Management, Project Management, IT, HR, and the Board of Directors. Co-designed, modeled and 3D-printed prototypes of hand-held ultrasound device, ideated ultrasound machinery including fabricating mechanical prototypes, experimented with methods for constructing springless trampoline. I particularly enjoy developing new casting techniques for difficult shapes and designing (mathematical) ruled surfaces using laser-cut shapes and dyed silk string.

For the Housing Tour for Affordable Housing Week, handled on-site logistics with developer representatives, tour scheduling, discussed sponsorship strategies, designed and produced informational packets and event photography. Participated in Member Company committee meetings, discussing support for local and state projects and legislation related to housing and community planning. Represented affordable housing interests during in-house meetings with local elected officials.

Completed "volumetric image transfer"​ process by preparing silkscreens and oxide inks, screening patterns onto transfer sheets, and applying intricate patterns to tiles and bowls using a process described here in the link below. Made tiles using slab roller and dies, compressed-air plaster tile press, and pug mill. Create and maintained studio infrastructure, including making plaster drying slabs, bisque slump molds, plaster tile dies, and silk screens.
