Working in the Markets Architecture group to deliver enterprise FX solutions to an internal cloud platform primarily utilizing a Spring/AngularJS/Hibernate(Oracle) stack. Applications are containerized (Docker), resilient and performant and utilize REST for intercommunication.

Support Foreign Exchange (FX) Trading front and back office systems, including designing and implementing interfaces with internal and external groups using various technologies (MQ, web services, NDM/Connect:Direct, SFTP, TCP/Socket, etc.), creating and maintaining FX web trading and payment applications, and constant process and performance improvement (including SQL tuning, code/design reviews, legacy re-engineering, etc.). Create and implement team standards and development practices and work with other developers to implement them. Developed in-house payment and trade processing software to handle different financial message standards (SWIFT, BAI, TOF, ACH).

Designed, implemented, tested and supported online fantasy sports gaming startup. For quick time-to-market results, I chose ColdFusion with a MySQL backend. I designed and coded all database, business logic, and user interface components for the system and managed all code deployments to the hosting service. The CF pages used AJAX to keep bandwidth usage low and page performance high, especially critical during drafts when realtime response is key. Payment processing was also integrated into the system. Payment requests and responses were integrated into the third party system and offered a near-seamless experience for the user.

ATM Management- Created an innovative solution to bandwidth issue (pushing large video files over the network to ATMs) ... (which is still in place today - still showing each time I use a PNC ATM)- Created web interface layer over mainframe processes using XSLT to convert mainframe datasets in XML format to HTML, and in reverse, HTML requests to XML for requests to the mainframe- Created greatly needed code management and build processes for the group centered around Clearcase and ANT- Re-engineered core components of the shared web architecture (servlets) to improve efficiency and maintainability

Solid State Measurements (SSM) produced cutting edge Metrology equipment for semiconductor materials analysis- Designed and developed a modular, multi-threaded, ActiveX plugin-based architecture (Visual C++) to measure and analyze properties of semiconductor material(This was a project I developed beyond my standard workload to overhaul SSM's legacy, DOS-based product.
