As the Head of Legal and Director of Legal and Compliance at Gartner, I am responsible for overseeing and managing the legal, compliance, and ombuds functions across the Middle East region, as well as providing strategic business advice to senior leaders and stakeholders. With over 13 years of experience in this role, I have successfully led and executed multiple complex and high-value corporate agreements, transactions, and projects, while ensuring compliance with local and international laws and regulations, and mitigating risks and disputes.I am passionate about promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) within the legal profession and beyond, and leveraging my platform and expertise to advocate for authentic leadership, disability rights and women empowerment. I have co-founded and co-led the Legal and Compliance Inclusion Council at Gartner, and serve on the board of several employee resource groups, networks, and advisory boards that aim to foster a culture of inclusion, mentorship, sponsorship, and collaboration.
