As a Chabad rabbi, I’m here to cater to the religious needs of our local Jewish community, and to encourage growth. I hope to foster unity, promote Jewish identity and pride, and do whatever I can to better our community in all aspects, religious and social alike.ADMIN:On a daily basis you can find me developing programs for Jewish teens and kids, running summer camps, teaching classes, and leading services. I’m also in charge of security for our building and events, training teams to ensure our safety. CRISIS INTERVENTION:I’m part of a crisis intervention team here, founded through Chai Lifeline, where we help families and individuals cope with grief, loss, illness, or other life event where the ideals of compassion, kindness, and caring for others inherent in Jewish culture and life are most needed.PUBLIC SPEAKING:I love to inspire people in their personal lives, whether as a counselor, as a teacher, or both. I work frequently as a public speaker for audiences large and small. I’ve spoken at local schools to an audience of just a few dozen children, and I’ve delivered workshops to more than 5,000 rabbis at the International Conference of Shluchim. Topics range from basic Jewish practice, to current trends in our community, to Shul security, to school security, and beyond. SAFETY & SECURITYAdditionally, I bring particular expertise to the Chabad community in the area of safety and security. I’m a certified range safety officer, private patrol operator with exposed firearm permit, studied MMA for 3 years, and continue to train in security & self-defense on a daily basis.
