Dr. Yossi Dashti engages in technology transfer, academic research, and education in China, Israel, the USA. He serves as VP of business development at YazamTech, a provider of cyber security solutions. Following a career as an executive in multinational corps. and startup ventures, both in Israel and in the US, Yossi has joined the academia in Israel and China, researching innovation-driven economies and success factors of startups. He teaches innovation, entrepreneurship, leadership and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and IPO strategies, . His academic engagements include the Faculty of Business and Management and Overseas Programs at Ben Gurion University, the School of Electronics Engineering & Computer Science at Peking University, Beijing, the Global MBA program at Renmin University of China (RUC) , and Sichuan University (SCU) UIP. He serves the deputy director of the China-Israel Research Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Jilin University. Yossi served as a member of the California based Broadcom Corp. management team that led a NASDAQ:BRCM record-setting IPO and the M&A integration of over 20 acquired companies in multiple global locations. He served as a strategic and business development executive with California based Safeskin (NASDAQ:SFSK) where he prepared the company for Kimberly-Clark (NYSE:KMB)'s acquisition. He held global Information Technology (IT) and Electronic Commerce technical and managerial positions and was engaged in software development and ERP deployments with Western Digital, AST Computers, and Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC).
