Day Oncology Nursing (1st rotation)- Worked in teams of 2-3 nurses to administer chemotherapy to patients- Responsible for bringing patients in for pre-assessment, pre-medication, peripheral IV cannulation/PICC dressing + access/Chest port (Portacath) access, as well as administering chemotherapy medications- Orientating and educating patients on their chemotherapy treatment, supportive medications as well as precautions to be taken on first visit to unit- Following up and liaising with medical team for any issues or complications arising during course of visit- Occasional transfusion of blood and administering of haematology medications as requiredSpecialist Aged Care Nursing (Mental Health) (2nd rotation)- Care of residents with mental health issues/behaviours of concern due to dementia/Alzheimer's/schizophrenia- Responsible for general bedside care and tending to Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), de-escalating and constant 1:1 reassurance to residents- Routinely being the Nurse-in-Charge (NIC), or during the absence of ANUM
