As a highly motivated and accomplished freelancer with extensive experience in Video & Film Production, I am on the lookout for a new opportunity to merge my diverse skill set with a great culture fit. While my passion for visual storytelling and collaboration has led me to achieve success as a writer, director, producer, and editor of award-winning feature films, I am always seeking new challenges to further my growth as a "Jac"-of-all-trades. My recent success with "Last Chance," my debut feature film, has been a testament to my ability to thrive in highly stressful sets and my commitment to diversity in storytelling. Notably, "Last Chance" has been acquired by Indie Rights Studios, a popular indie film distributor, after winning multiple awards at film festivals. While I continue my job hunt, I don't plan to rest on my laurels, as I am currently in production for my directorial follow-up feature film, with even bigger ambitions, while I seek out that company environment that values my creativity and teamwork, with leaders who can guide and support my expedient growth. With my intimate knowledge of each facet of production and my ability to effectively communicate with department heads, I am confident that I can become an efficient leader and bring out the best in my co-collaborators. I am proud to have received the 'Diversity in Film Award' at the 2022 edition of San Diego Film Week, as well as the 'Best First Time Director Award' at the 2022 Chicago Indie Film Awards for my feature film directorial debut.
