As the product owner of PI, I aim to solve a critical problem - bridging the gap between data and people who need it. By harnessing IoT, PI makes data visible and actionable, empowering users to unlock value.The target customers are small and medium-sized manufacturers. It consists of IoT gateways, SaaS services, and mobile apps.The gateways collect user data and report in real-time.The SaaS service manages the gateways, stores, and processes data, and ensures link security.The mobile app provides data display on the terminal.A typical use case is: users install PI gateways on their production lines to collect various data; on the SaaS service end, generate time-series data with business value through configurations, such as uptime, yield rate, various process parameters, etc; view data changes in real-time on in-factory screens or mobile apps or receive alarm notifications.

Helping a big client of Thoughtworks moving and ramping up delivery center from overseas to Xi'an China. This company is one of the Airlines in Australia, i am responsible for forming the team and making technical decision for the booking engine which is built on top of Navitaire.The real challenges for this project:1. Ramping up team from scratch very quickly in six months which is about 30 people when I left.2. Making sure this new team shares the same vision and value system.3. Motivating senior developers to take more technical responsibilities to do continues improvement.4. Setting up team structure to meet the scaling requirement of the account5. Mastering Navitaire's framework quickly and make technical alignment across different locations of delivery teams including Melbourne, Singapore and Xi'an from architecture, coding standard, release process and testing strategy (pairing with our QA lead)

This project is to adding SSO functionality between Telstra my account and Telstra home site (www.telstra.com.au), which requires OpenSSO, Layer 7, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connection domain knowledge and Java, Spring MVC, Jersey, REST API, Shell, Perl, Packing technology. One of my jobs is to integrate OpenSSO and ACG (Layer 7) to make sure token can be shared between them. Another one is to config ACG to expose a certain REST API with CORS enabled to make sure front end can consume this service.

This project main focus on DDC(Digital Data Caching) upgrade, which requires Java, linux, shell. My responsibility is to make sure all feature delivery on time with good code quality and making sure everyone on the team has the same page about what and when we are going to delivery, including- Project planning, estimation, staffing plan- Project status tracking- Risk Management- Reducing the blockers

REA is a leading digital advertising business specialising in property. Listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) in 1999, the Group operates Australia’s No.1 residential and commercial property websites, as well as the market-leading Italian property site, casa.it, and other property sites and apps across Europe and Hong Kong. This project is to help REA to build and maintain their commercial property website to make sure they keep the leading position in Australia online property market. To achieve that, we help them to maintain the legacy system, which is a 9+ years old Java based web application with Spring MVC framework, upgrade online user experience, divide complex legacy system into decoupled, simple and single response microservices, bring continuous delivery into their IT delivery process and migrate current data center into AWS Cloud. We have 7 different teams working for this client. I am taking the tech lead and team lead role in this project for one of those teams, my scope of work includes technical decision and project management including delivery process optimizing, code quality checking, people growth, risk management and client facing, besides those one of my important work is to support innovation. We have a regular activities called Hack Day which is a two days journey that every developer on the team will raise their innovation ideas based on Hackday’s topic, by given 2 days free time, they can find anyone who is interested in to work together to make it happen, at last there will be a show case across all teams, who gets the most votes will be the winner.
