Recent Cambridge graduate with particular interests in animal behaviour and welfare, conservation, and education. My cross-disciplinary undergraduate degree has given me a fundamental basis of understanding in a range of mathematical and biological subjects (in my first and second years), as well as a deeper understanding of evolution, behaviour, ecology, and conservation (in my final year). I also produced two final-year research projects in which I performed analysis and generated figures in R.Outside of my academics I have trained and competed as a member of the University riding team and College boat club throughout my time at University. I have also held various committee positions, including President of the riding club, and have enjoyed the freedom to take initiative and make improvements to the clubs, as well as honing my time management skills.I enjoy tutoring and have a wide range of experience across a variety of subjects and ages, which has allowed me to develop a logical, engaging approach which works with each student as an individual. I also enjoy photography and have worked both privately and freelance and sports events.Ultimately I aim to combine my academic skills, passion, and wide-ranging experiences to to build an academically stimulating career that makes a tangible difference to the people and animals with which we share our planet.
