Young-A Yang moved to the United States at the age of fifteen without knowing how to speak English. She arrived to the U.S. alone, but her dreams to be successful in the classroom and on the golf course provided Young-A with the ambition to achieve her goals. Ms. Yang credits her ambition to excel and to work harder than anyone else as the key to her ability to quickly learn English, earn a college degree in Psychology, and to fulfill a lifelong goal to become a professional golfer on the LPGA. Today, Young-A is a professional golfer on the LPGA Tour and a seasoned Consultant for YA Consulting. She inspires youth in South Korea and in the United States with motivational lectures, golf instruction, and volunteering as an Assistant Women's Golf Coach at her Alma Mater, The University of Tennessee. She was also inducted into the Lady Vol Hall of Fame in 2012.
