I am an avid technical pioneer with a focus on business process improvement through excellence in architecture and design. Capable of organizing, motivating and inspiring staff and peers to meet organizational goals, I deliver results in high-pressure situations while working to build collaboration and consensus across organizational units. Additionally, I am experienced in managing high-profile vendor relationships and negotiating successful contractual partnerships and outcomes. A decisive decision maker with a proven ability to lead change, I frequently influence executive technology leadership and have been afforded opportunities to speak nationally on the topics of such database virtualization, data virtualization and technical team organizational best practices. I have held positions as a member of various "customer advisory boards" for industry vended software suites and am the past president of the VMware Special Interest Group of the IOUG. In my current role at Indiana University I am responsible for both the technical architecture and management of the team charged with the implementation of the university's "Decision Support Initiative".
