A Military Interpreter specializes in communications and activity preparations in foreign languages. Among the most important qualifications are: exceptional good character, ability to learn, write and speak foreign languages, a good memory, curiosity, resourcefulness, an orientation toward ideas and information, and ability to keep accurate records and work with details. Also important is adaptability to a wide range of work activities and environments.As an interpreter, I have been conducting radio communications, contributing in document translation, and translating during activities involving English-Korean & Korean-English communications.

A Boatswain's Mate (BM) maintains the exterior surfaces of ships, handle cargo and operate equipments and machinery. BMs must be able to speak clearly and distinctly. Other qualities include resourcefulness, a good memory, curiosity, physical strength, manual dexterity, the ability to work as a team member and to perform repetitive tasks.

KRISS is a student society under the Korean Student Association of HKUST. It aims to foster students' interest in the financial industry through regular group activities including regular reports, projects and presentations. As part of the Macro Analysis Team, I have researched issues and events that influenced global economy and analyzed and made regional economic predictions in the weekly reports.

As a project manager, I was able to develop my communication and leadership skills. Frequent communication with the client was necessary for assessing their needs. Teamwork with leadership was crucial for guiding the team to smoothly reach the project objectives.

As a consultant, I deepened my understanding on social organisations and the consulting industry and improve teamworking and communication skills. During projects, it involved market research, communication with clients, regular team meetings and briefs. Aside from projects, multiple activities including weekly training, case-breaking practices, and partnership with other branches and consulting firms.
