Youngmi joined Brann in 2018. She provides advisory and professional services on IP prosecution and litigation, specialized in telecommunication, electronics, computer implemented invention, signal processing, process control and medical device technology.She studied computer science and psychology at Sogang University, 1991. Based on several years of experience as an engineer, Youngmi started her career in IP in 2003 as an authorized patent attorney in Korea. She has worked at IP law firms for Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology and Samsung Electronics in relation to standard patents such as MPEG, DVD, BD, IPv6, etc.After moving to Sweden with her family, she studied European Intellectual Property Law at Stockholm University and achieved Mater at law, 2011. Before she joined Brann she worked as a patent attorney at IP law firm in Sweden, 2012-2018. She has successfully assisted international clients, especially Korean clients, in relation to European IP law and practice.Through wide experience as an engineer and patent professional in Korea and Europe, Youngmi deeply understands the clients’ needs and provides advice from the clients’ point of view.Languages: Korean, English, Swedish (understand)
