I worked as a character animator on Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness. (Seasons 2 & 3) We were nominated during the 39th Annie Award for Best Animated TV Production - children category. I am very proud to have done my part. I learned a ton during my time here and got to work with some amazing people including Nickelodeon Studios where they have some ridiculously talented storyboard artists. I worked on the CG Feature Film, "Cendrillon au Far West (Cinderella 3D)" as a character animator. Here I learned about working in a different environment and different culture. And it was my first time working on a feature film, so I learned about the differences in animation quality and time management. This was also my first time working with motion capture. It was loads of fun and alot of work, but my supervisors and co-workers were very nice to me and very helpful and it was a gas working… Show more I worked on the CG Feature Film, "Cendrillon au Far West (Cinderella 3D)" as a character animator. Here I learned about working in a different environment and different culture. And it was my first time working on a feature film, so I learned about the differences in animation quality and time management. This was also my first time working with motion capture. It was loads of fun and alot of work, but my supervisors and co-workers were very nice to me and very helpful and it was a gas working with them everyday with lots of espresso shots. This was actually a cornerstone in my evolution of animation, because I dealt with so many different characters and props. From, a single tooth bouncing and rolling down a wooden plank to main characters interacting with each other, BG characters, flying vultures, running ostriches that are being ridden by characters, ropes, rocks, etc. It was huge and I had a blast working on it. I am proud to say that I was part of the crew that stayed to the very end and finished the movie. It wasn't a hilariously emotional goodbye, but it does leave a special feeling in your heart to finish a movie together. Show less

I got to work on concept art, storyboard and character design as well as layout, editing, compositing and sound mixing. And of course a lot of animation. I had a blast and learned so many things, it was an incredible experience. And, I had an Aerospace Engineer at NASA for my boss! How cool is that!
