Trained & specialize in teaching The Bradley® Method of childbirth. I assist clients in happy "birth"days assisting when desired with hands on relaxation techniques, positioning, etc. for an easier to manage labor. Clients can choose from traditional classes, one day workshops or straight doula assistance in labor.The traditional class is a 12 week prep for drug free labor & birth utilizing relaxation & massage to manage labor pain. Not everyone desires to birth without pain management, however, this class is so detailed and the information is helpful to every laboring mom to utilize before, during or after medication or surgery and especially when common pain management does not work effectively or you are not a candidate for epidural. Your birth can be safer & easier to manage with proper relaxation techniques, regardless of your choice to medicate or not.I also offer basic birth workshops for those who do not have time for a Bradley® series or whose schedules do not allow & also those who are undecided about pain medication in labor.DOULA assistance is offered for both students & non-students, however, I do offer my students a significant discount on doula rates as a reward for educating and preparing in advance for their happy "birth"day.
