Starting off my career in the fashion industry began when I graduated from FIDM in Los Angeles with an AA in Fashion Design with the goal of becoming a Top Fashion Designer. I immediately started working with a well-known company in design assisting and technical design. My knowledge of the industry developed extensively and very rapidly. A few years later I became a designer and pursued my creativity and career.I worked as a contemporary sportswear designer and also a swimwear designer. My experience was gained in all aspects of the fashion industry from design, development, technical, fitting, patternmaking, spec tech, illustration, merchandising, and so on.In 2004 I became a freelance designer and also began fit modeling. I started my fit model work with an agency and was booking every go see I went on. Several months later fit modeling took over and finally excepted that I was now a model, a Professional and full time "FIT MODEL".In the years working as a fit model I worked with and helped develop well over 150 companies. I have been a fit model for jeans, tops, swim, fitness, activewear, dresses, contemporary sportswear, junior sportswear, & even pregnancy jeans (strapping on a belly of course).Fit modeling has developed my vast knowledge even more so in the Apparel Business than I could have ever imaged. Every fitting I am in I use my creativity to help formulate my opinion and wise revisions, which brings me fulfillment as being a Designer.I have knowledge in patternmaking and technical design, which in terms, becomes very useful in fitting and my knowledge is proven. I am very detail-oriented and never miss those little details that can make every difference in a garment. I take my job seriously and know my measurements have to stay consistent, which I am reliable for that.
