After a 20 year gap since his last hosting gig, Nathan J Burke leaped into a starring role at Tacking Point Tavern launching their QuizzaMe Australia gameshow trivia night in January 2018. Fast forward 12 months, and Nathan has hosted upwards of 60 trivia shows in Port Macquarie, ensuring over 4000 locals and international visitors have had a fun night out with their family and friends. Thanks to his professional (but sometimes cheeky) manner, Nathan had the opportunity to assist Port Macquarie Fire Fighters' Squad 424 Charity Golf Day, helping them to raise over $4000 through his hosting and auction calling. In 2018 Nathan J Burke had the pleasure of being the Master of Ceremonies at the Trickett/Page wedding, with many guests curious why they'd never heard of this effervescent and professional host. Twenty nineteen promises to be another great year for this Mid North Coast (Port Macquarie) local with a future of near 100 trivia gameshows, a speed dating event or two, professional and charity events, and weddings galore. Contract hosting/MC role with QuizzaMe Australia as their Quiz Master for Tacking Point Tavern and The Port Macquarie Hotel. Responsible for setting up audio-visual equipment, conducting sound checks, liaising with venue management regarding nightly prizes, and entertaining crowds of up to 127 people in a family-friendly show. Volunteer musician with Port Macquarie’s Concento Wind Ensemble (2nd trumpet) which involvesattending scheduled practices; assisting with setting up and packing down, and playing at performances; and tutoring junior musicians at ad-hoc extra practice sessions.
