• Responsible for developing KPC’s Western assets that encompass both green and brown fields, ranging from dead oil to volatile oil reservoirs under different drive mechanisms and development strategies. • Assisting operations and recommending decisions in KPC’s activities in the Western Desert of Egypt, including 8 drilling rigs and 12 workover rigs.• Recommended drilling 40 development wells and successfully drilled and completed 22 successful development wells to date with 16 wells pending on the rig line.• Created and characterized KPC Western assets behind pipe inventory (over 50 opportunities identified). Recommended 25 well interventions. Successfully recompleted 20 wells to date with 5 scheduled jobs.• Performed integrated production modelling (using PROSPER, MBAL and GAP) and numerical reservoir simulation (using PETREL and tNavigator) to define field development plans in terms of development drilling opportunities, well interventions, completions and artificial lift optimizations, evacuation routes and secondary recovery potential and design.• Estimated connected volume, drive mechanism and reserves using material balance via MBAL, rate transient analysis via IHS Harmony and pressure transient analysis via KAPPA Ecrin.• Integrated with the exploration team to prepare prospect characterization inputs and well testing and fluid sampling programs for exploration wells. • Performed quality checking on PVT sample analysis, using PVTP and analyze the impact of fluid properties on different production scenarios.• Team member of Apache Egypt completions team responsible for reviewing, designing and evaluating wells’ stimulation programs. Proposed and successfully drilled and completed 14 development wells with 13 successful wells.• Recommended 10 well intervention opportunities (recompletions, pump upgrades, conversion to injector, water shut offs, etc.). 9 jobs were successful with significant impact on production.• Reservoir monitoring and surveillance of waterflooding projects by analytical approaches using OFM and streamline simulation approaches using 3DSL.• Integrate with the geoscientists and production teams to create multi-realization numerical reservoir simulation models using PETREL and Eclipse/ tNavigator to define green fields’ development plans. • Validate Conventional and Special Core Analysis and PVT data (via PVTP) and prepare the results using for reservoir characterization and reservoir modelling studies.• Focal point in the Avocet team responsible for the setup, implementation and operations of Avocet Database in QPC. • Identified and evaluated field development opportunities for operated assets (both onshore and offshore fields in the Gulf of Suez) and non-operated assets (in the western desert of Egypt).• Integrated with the geoscientists in static model building and volumetric calculations, using both probabilistic and deterministic methods, including sensitivity and uncertainty analysis using PETREL.• Participated in building integrated Field Development Plans (FDP’s) and production forecasts for both green and brown fields, using integrated production modelling (PROSPER, MBAL and GAP) and reservoir simulation techniques (PETREL and ECLIPSE), as well as decline curve analysis techniques using OFM.• Prepared and presented reserves and resources booking packages to the auditors following SPE’s PRMS guidelines for the non-operated assets.• Liaising with the different departments including economics and finance to ensure integrated results.
