Yousef holds a Master in Architecture from Harvard University, Graduate School of Design, and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture with distinction from McGill University. As an American Institute Certified Planner and Project Management Professional, he leads projects across the Middle East, with a focus on cultural, urban, and regional development in the GCC. His experience includes roles as an Advisor to the Kuwait Council of Ministers, an Architect for LCLA Office, a Curator at the 2021 Venice Architecture Biennale, and currently as a Project Manager and Lead Planner at Perkins&Will. Yousef's research has been presented at several symposiums, including ISOCARP World Planning Congress and the International Association for the Study of Traditional Environments. Moreover, his work has been published in multiple anthologies, including Columbia University Press' "Deserts Are Not Empty", Actar Publisher's "Between East and West A Gulf", and the ACSA Journal of Architectural Education 77:2.
