I teach a variety of courses at ACA. I also helped develop and maintain the course curriculum that is used to introduce students to web development. I taught SQL at ConsultingSolutions.net. Almost all of the students were funded through the Texas Workforce Commission because of initiatives by the state to educate those looking for careers in the technology sector. Most of my students were older students, and their technological skill set varied greatly. The class was taught through examples and exercises.

My experience building Java web applications for Open Sky included working with XMLC, HTML, JavaScript and Ajax for front-end dynamic HTML pages; working with Spring to develop the middle-tier business logic; and using Hibernate, PostgreSQL and MySQL for the persistence layer. I have also worked with Jfree and Jasper to create custom reports and printouts including forms and custom payable checks.Some of the web based projects I have worked on include: - property and tenant management system- interactive learning center for med students- secure electronic document delivery system- employee and event scheduling application- dock and freight management and reporting system- employee absenteeism and medical leave tracking- employee disability claim tracking and payment processing- customer issue tracking and resolution workflow- integrating multiple third party systems with client specific applications

I have setup one of the Linux server environments, installing and configuring various software, including Apache, Tomcat, Ant, Maven, Java, Jira, and PostgreSQL.

Working on a SaaS Metering web application using JSP for the front-end; Struts to develop the middle-tier business logic; and using PostgreSQL managed through Hibernate for the persistence layer.For this project I implemented a customer portal integrated with the Evapt Application. I have also worked on implementing ReST APIs for developers to use in integrating their applications with the Evapt Application
